Apple White Wine Sorbet

Amazing palate cleanser, refreshing with a splash of white wine. Imagine starting a meal with this on a hot summer day.

Apple White Wine Sorbet


  • 6 Apples (at least 1 Granny Smith for interest, not Delicious)
  • 1 ½ Cups White Wine ( or less) Dry. If you use a dessert white wine use less honey, unless you like it sweeter.
  • ¾ Cups Water
  • ½ Cup of honey ( or a bit less)
  • 5 fresh mint leaves (no stems)


  • Peel, core and quarter apples
  • Place apples and mint in the food processor and blend
  • Add the rest of the ingredients
  • Place in a shallow plastic container and freeze.
  • After about an hour stir the mixture. ( You can place the mixture in the food processor
  • again to blend).
  • Place the sorbet into the freezer again for at least a few hours.
  • Remove from the freezer about 5 minutes before serving.
  • Serve as a refreshing appetizer on a hot summer day
  • Garnish with one mint leaf on each serving.
