Black Cured Olive Spread

A great accompaniment to any Mediterranean Inspired meal, such as a salad with Feta Cheese or a Minestrone Soup and some Whole Grain Sourdough bread or Crackers.

  • Small container/ jar of cured olives soaked briefly and rinsed.
  • 1/2 Cup of black olive rings
  • Olive Oil
  • 2 cloves fresh pressed garlic
  • [Optional]
  • 1 TbSP Pine Nuts


  • Pit the black cured olives.
  • Place both the olive rings and cured olives in the food processor.
  • Add the pressed garlic and pine nuts
  • Start the food processor and add a small amount (start with a quarter of a cup)
  • of olive oil.
  • Process. Scrape the sides of the food processor.
  • Check and see if you have a paste like consistency. If not add 2 tablespoons of
  • olive oil and process some more.
  • Again, scrape the sides of your food processor and check for a paste like consistency.
