Mixed Green Salad with Apples and Grapes


  • Mixed Lettuce Greens of your choice
  • 1 Granny Smith Apple cored and sliced thinly - sprinkle fresh lemon juice on the cutting board and the apples
  • A bunch of pretty red or dark seedless Grapes - sliced in half
  • Toasted Pecans - brush with a mixture of oil and honey - then toast in your oven or skillet
  • Optional: Shavings of Parmesean Cheese


  • Wash and dry your lettuce greens. Keep them dry till ready to assemble salad
  • Place lettuce greens in a wide pretty dish.
  • Scatter Apple and Grapes and toasted Pecans
  • Scatter parmesan shavings if you like
  • Serve the dressing on the side.
  • 1/2 Cup neutral tasting oil like grapeseed
  • 1/4 Cup white wine vinegar
  • 2 Cloves minced garlic
  • 1 TSP Honey
  • Salt and Pepper
  • Taste and adjust seasoning
