Moist Honey Mustard Chicken Strips

Moist Honey Mustard Chicken Strips


  • 2 TBSP Honey
  • 3 TBSP Mustard dijon, brown
  • ½ Cup Water
  • Pinch Salt, Pepper
  • 1 1/2 Whole Grain Breadcrumbs
  • 2 Chicken Breasts cut into nuggets or strips
  • Oil Spray for the baking pan.


  • Preheat oven 350 Degrees
  • Combine marinade ingredients and mix with chicken pieces in a bowl.
  • Refrigerate for at least a half hour.
  • Line a baking pan with parchment paper and lightly spray with oil.
  • Coat each piece of chicken on both sides with breading.
  • Place chicken in one layer on baking pan.
  • Place chicken in oven on the middle rack.
    Check after 8 minutes as follows:
  • Remove baking pan, with a sharp knife cut into the thickest piece of chicken. If the chicken is cooked through - even barely pink- remove tray immediately, and leave the heat of the tray finish up the cooking. If the chicken is still pink, raw, put back in the oven and check again in 4 minutes.
