No Ordinary Tuna Salad

This is the no mayo tuna salad you've been looking for. While it uses calcium and protien rich tahini you don't get the telltale tahini flavor at all. It just lends texture really. The vinegar masks the taste of the tahini. I have served this to people who dislike tahini and they truly enjoyed this.

  • 1/2 Onion
  • 2 Cans Tuna Drained any variety you like
  • 2 TBSP Unprocessed Tahini
  • 2 TBSP White Distilled Vinegar
  • Salt and Pepper to Taste
  • The Accompanying Salad in the Picture
  • Divided into two bowls
  • 1/2 Cup Sprouted Mung Beans....or more
  • 1 Cup Cherry Tomatos Cut in Half
  • 2 Large handfuls of washed checked greens


  • Place onion in your food processor and pulverise
  • Add the tuna - just pulse once or twice.
  • Drizzle in the tahini and then the vinegar. Again just pulse once or twice briefly.
