
Easy Chicken Surprise
This is an peasy recipe, the moistest chicken dish you will ever know. Every time I think of it -I know it will be a hit. I think I will make it today!
Ingredients
- One whole chicken ( chicken parts of your choice)
- 5 sheets of baking Parchment Paper - enough for each layer to just wrap the chicken.
- Stapler!
- Aluminum Foil
- Olive Oil
- 3 Cloves of crushed Garlic
- Herbs of choice a generous pinch of: thyme, oregano, tarragon, rosemary, etc...
- Ground Black Pepper
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Place layers of parchment paper in a pan, or on a clean dry counter
- Pour a TBSP of olive oil on the top layer of parchment.
- Place the chicken, breast meat on the bottom.
- Rub about 1 TBSP of olive oil plus the garlic and herbs all over the chicken.
- With a stapler hold together each layer of parchment so chicken is completely wrapped by each layer. - The idea is to seal all the juices.
- Wrap completely in aluminum foil (even 2 layers if you like)
- Place the chicken in the hot oven.
- Bake for 45 minutes in the 350 degree oven. Additional fifteen minutes reduce the heat to 300 degrees.
- Place a thermometer deep into the center of the chicken to an internal temperature of of 180 degrees to check for doneness.
- Bring to the table sealed. Cut through the layers of paper and let the steam escape. This is the most moist and easy chicken recipe there is!
- Spoon the accumulated juices on a grain side dish of your choice
